Operation Furry Soldiers was originally created to support soldiers of the 67th Specialized Search Dog Platoon, Canine Company of the United States Army. Since that time we have expanded to include dog teams in all branches of the military.  Due to the incredible support of our volunteers we have been able to provide soldiers and their dogs with a little bit of home to brighten their days.

We thank everyone for their kind words and support. The soldiers truly appreciate all that you have done!

November 6, 2008 - In honor of Veteran’s day we celebrate and pay tribute to the men and women in our military with the arrival of the traveling Vietnam War Memorial Wall and the Vietname Military Working Dog Memorial in the Fred O.
